I'd like to welcome everyone to the Sports and Leisure Magazine. As the Rochester Bureau Chief, I hope everyone will participate in our blog and leave comments, both pro and con, on many different sport subjects.

I know Shawn Krest, the Buffalo Editor, and myself will agree on different items, but we will also have different points of view on subjects. Throw in the comments of our publisher Marian Giallombardo, our other writers and you the sports fan.  It should make for a very entertaining voice and outlet for Western New York sports fans.

I love this time of year... it is by far is the best. Baseball is winding down, both college and professional football are getting into high gear while the NBA and NHL seasons are just on the horizon. High school sports, horse racing, professional golf, lacrosse and soccer will also be covered along with any other issues in the sports world.

Let your voice be heard. Whether you agree or disagree with what we say, let us know. I feel there are no right or wrong answers or opinions in sports. We all have our feelings. Let us know how you feel. Enlighten us. Tell us.
