I just got home from the scrimmage game the Sabres had today, as well as the new jersey unveiling. I must admit.. the slug is growing on me more and more. I don't like the "logo" persay... but as a whole the jersey looks great and I really like the merchandise I saw today. Very nice.

The colors make it all work I think, I like the returning back to the blue and gold. But in all honesty.. the Slug-alo... it's not attractive at all.

Players looked fantastic.. newcomers Thorburn, Berault, Stafford looked excellent. Adam Mair was looking very good. Biron played a phenomenal game in net. Vanek was hurt during the first part of the scrimmage and didn't return. He took a hard hit from Kaleta, and left the ice bleeding. Ouch!

There were a lot of new faces today mixed in with the guys from last year and all of them seemed very determined to get a chance to shine today.

Less than a month til the official start of hockey season and I can not wait!!

Go Sabres!!!
