The Buffalo Sabres just wrapped up their first preseason game at the Air Canada center in Toronto. The Sabres took the game 4-0.. against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Leafs still looked big and slow, nothing new from last year. I wonder if they really have a clue about the new NHL.
The Sabres seemed a little ugly at first, a little unsure of themselves, a tad sloppy, but as the game went on they tightened up and seemed to really come together.
Roy,Paille, Ryan, and Pommenville all scored, all on powerplays. A lot of our new rookies played and they played well. We have a lot of depth that will be in Rochester for us this year.
So the year is off to a great start and the excitement is starting to build already!!!!
One team, One goal..
