This just in. Chances are looking very good that if a deal with Washington goes down Bisons third baseman Andy Marte could very well be the center piece of Cleveland's offer for Chad Cordero.
Makes sense.
The Indians are happy with Casey Blake, and even though Marte hasn't lived up to expectations he's young (23-years old). Which makes him an attractive commodity fot a Washington team that's looking to get younger and build for the future.
